A well written thought provoking fiction with great content

Book Review
@menanddreamsinthedhauladhar by Kochery C Shibu
.
A debut novel written in a thought provoking manner and is so engrossing that it’s hard to digest it’s the debut work of Kochery C Shibu .
.
Synopsis: Men and dreams In the Dhauladhar by Kochery C Shibu captures the story of destinies roles in our lives with the help of three main characters from different parts of India. Nanda an Engineer from Kerala, Khusru, a boy from Kashmir displaced from his native and Rekha a Khathak dancer by profession meets at the Hydel power project site in Himalayas. What happens next deals with the aspirations of people towards their work life, superstitious belief of villagers written in an engrossing manner. .

What went well for me:
The story is set in the backdrop of Hydel power project and hence it’s working has been described ( ps: The author is a retired naval officer and product of NDA) . The three main characters of the story has given equal importance with proper and relevant story of their background as they are from different parts of the country thereby connecting well with the readers.
.
To understand more of what happened in the lives of Nanda, Khusru and Rekha please check this book on @amazondotin. You can either go for the paperback or @amazonkindle
